WordPress Integration
Connect your WordPress website to SEO45 AI for fully automated content publishing. Our integration uses Application Passwords for secure access.
Prerequisites
- A self-hosted WordPress site (WordPress.com Business or higher)
- WordPress version 5.6 or later
- Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard
Step 1: Add Your Site
- Go to your SEO45 AI dashboard
- Click "Add Site"
- Select "WordPress" as your platform
- Enter your website domain (e.g., yourblog.com)
Step 2: Create an Application Password
WordPress Application Passwords allow SEO45 AI to publish content securely without exposing your main password.
- Log into your WordPress admin dashboard
- Go to Users → Profile
- Scroll to "Application Passwords" section
- Enter a name like "SEO45 AI"
- Click "Add New Application Password"
- Copy the generated password (you'll only see it once)
Can't see Application Passwords? Make sure you're using WordPress 5.6+ and that your site uses HTTPS. Some security plugins may also disable this feature.
Step 3: Enter Credentials in SEO45
- Back in SEO45, enter your WordPress username
- Paste the Application Password you created
- Click "Connect Site"
Step 4: Choose Your Plan
Select a subscription plan for your WordPress site. Once payment is complete, SEO45 AI will begin publishing content automatically.
That's it! Your WordPress site is now connected. SEO45 AI will publish 1 SEO-optimized post per day automatically.
Troubleshooting
Connection Failed
- Verify your site URL is correct and accessible
- Ensure you're using the correct username (not email)
- Make sure the Application Password was copied completely
- Check that your site allows REST API access
REST API Blocked
Some security plugins block the WordPress REST API. Check your security plugin settings and whitelist SEO45 AI if needed.
